Pukekura Motor Lodge

Spacious, very clean, well suppliied with cooking and eating utensils, plenty of pots and pans for using oven, cooktop and microwave. First facility to have salt and pepper shakers which was wonderful. Comfortable beds, pillows and lounge suite. Nice supply of liquid soaps and lotions and tea and coffee etc. Lovely aircon in the lounge area and plenty of TV channels. Quiet surroundings especially for sleeping while still close to main road into town. Good to have a well labelled carpark outside the door. Would definatley return.

We really enjoyed the spacious unit and having a beautiful view from the veranda. The unit was very peaceful, had a very comfortable bed, good black out curtains etc and had all that we needed for a very pleasant stay. We particularly appreciated the fact that the unit has a bath as well as a shower.

Very clean unit. Loved the shower. So powerful you got a teeny massage as well. Great location. Every day the room was serviced which was unexpected as many don't do this anymore. Was a nice touch though

Close to Pukekura Park and close to New Plymouth city. Quiet/ no noise from main road as windows are all double glazed. Excellent blinds/curtains so we were able to sleep well at night as room dark. Very clean. Head housekeeper/stand in manager Shaylee responded promptly to our request to get TV going so we could watch the news. She was friendly and welcoming which made me feel that I wasn’t just a number. Plus with her being a local she was able to advise us regarding local directions etc. Being environmentally conscious, it was pleasing to see NZ made bathroom soaps/ hand lotion and fair trade complementary teas, coffees and hot chocolates.
